By way of explanation, slightly; this is me attempting alliterative verse a la old Germanic/Scandinavian forms. The metre isn't great, I think. But it can maybe be its own form, its own thing?

Also... title is "meh" - maybe someday I'll think of something better. It's a "it needs a title, this'll do."
